In the present work we investigated stability and behavior change of lithium complex caused by thermal stress using PL, purity analysis methods, and synchrotron X‐ray. From our results the excimer formation and raw material degradation originated from sublimation purification were observed. Obviously, increased number of sublimation cycles, induces thermal degradation and change of crystalline structure of raw material. Moreover we suggested that highly stressed material containing excimers and thermal degradation products may tend to aggregation which can be a reason of stacking/clogging problems in organic evaporation chamber.
