In this paper, a high quality displays and high transmittance approach for TDDI LCD is proposed by placing the touch signal line in the center of sub‐pixel (where called Tx in dot). The design of Tx in dot can effectively eliminate the inhomogeneity of sub‐pixel parasitic capacitance and achieve the uniformity of color. In this paper four structures about Tx in dot have been proposed and simulated by Techwiz LCD 3D simulator, the result revealed that the structure of removing the com ITO layer directly above Tx signal line would have lower operate voltage (Vop) and smaller transmittance fluctuation. We also made the tx in dot product and confirmed that the product has good touch performance, lower operating voltage, higher transmittance and better picture uniformity at gray 255.
