Image quality has been a critical issue in holography‐related display, especially three‐dimensional display emphasizing reconstruction fidelity. An image optimization method combined with three‐dimensional modified Gerchberg‐Saxton algorithm (3D MGSA) and the tilted reconstruction projection system designed in this study is proposed to implement the high‐quality full‐color computer‐generated holography projection system. With the objective image quality analysis, it proves that the proposed image reconstruction optimization could largely improve the image quality with diffraction reconstruction computer‐generated holography in the past.
