Using high refractive index photopolymer to fabricate the full color holographic coupled grating for a waveguide‐type display system was designed. With the optimized high refractive index photopolymer, we have the possibility to find the optimized design for stacking red, green, blue (RGB) three layers coupled‐gratings together and propagating RGB wavelength in one layer waveguide without crosstalk. The proposed method and system was confirmed experimentally.
