Hot spot issues are critical for the performance of laser phosphor lighting systems owing to the high energy concentration of laser beam focusing, which will easily damage the phosphor plate. We present a novel algorithm to efficiently suppress the zero‐order diffraction with high acceptable tolerances during DOE fabrication.
