A silicone‐based optically clear adhesive, exhibiting low shrinkage, enhanced cure performance, and stable reliability, is described. The target utility of the adhesive is to provide a reliable silicone solution for the fabrication of high‐quality display modules that require long‐term reliability, such as outdoor applications and automotive displays. This paper describes the performance of DOWSIL™ VE‐12XX series silicone‐based optically clear adhesives which provide quick cure behavior even at room temperature, enable high throughput optical bonding processes and higher performance reliability due to a unique rheology for enhanced adhesion and stress release performance.
