Interior lighting in cars will evolve towards 1,000s of RGB LEDs. This requires new concepts for e.g. driving, daylight performance, uniformity and mixing of RGB with white. We report a new calibration method, a daylight threshold evaluation with subjects and uniformity for direct‐lit RGB light guides.
