At present, the quantum dot backlight technology of blue light‐emitting diode (LED) inspiring Quantum‐dots Light Converting Film (Q‐LCF) is mainly applied to TV, liquid crystal display (LCD) and other LCD module with wide border, because the narrow border quantum dot backlight exists problem of blue edges. This paper researches on the edge failure width of Q‐LCF, and the application of quantum dot backlight to narrow border liquid crystal display module (LCM) through experiment, and theoretical simulation and engineering experimental samples are carried out to confirm the improvement of blue edge technical scheme. The engineering experimental samples and theoretical simulation results match well with each other.
