Linear photo polymerization (LPP) technology is a latest photoalignment technology which has been applied into TFT‐LCDs manufacture.The non‐centrosymmetric bias property of the nematic director provides LCDs with high contrast. LPPH series are our newly developed LPP materials, we focus on the bias tilt angle ,polar and azimuthal anchoring energy analysis. Novel LPP materials show good optical performance with high reliability.The manufacture process of cells will also be discussed and the desired anchoring and bias tilt angle could be tailored to fit the industrial application.
