A novel solution coated gas barrier (SGB) technology for foldable AMOLED application, including LTPS TFT backplane, OLED thin film encapsulation (TFE) and front plate, was developed. A water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) with twice coated SGB film can achieve ~5x10 −6 g/m 2 ‐day by Calcium Test after folding at 3mm radius for 200,000 times.
