Recently, Interest of wide color gamut for display market is growing higher than before. So, many companies have been developing the materials of high color purity. Because the wavelength and Full Width at Half Maximum (FWHM) of materials are the most important factors for wide color gamut display, we have focused on developing the narrow FWHM of materials. The Quantum Rod is adjusted to have a narrow FWHM. We propose the possibility of new display, by applying red, green and blue quantum rods that show external electric field‐induced fluorescence switching property. We synthesized red, green and blue quantum rods respectively in different ways to achieve high performance in the device. Also, we aligned the quantum rods by applying electric field to improve the switching performance. Finally, we demonstrated the field‐induced fluorescence switching by applying electric field for each color on unit devices.
