We propose a novel in‐panel, TFT based de‐multiplex circuit for reducing column driver outputs. Each column driver output produces a command voltage for two neighboring column lines that are time multiplexed. De‐multiplexing is done on the array glass using TFT transistors. This approach supports higher‐frequency refresh rates for high‐resolution mobile OLED displays while minimizing display driver costs.
