Based on developing novel head‐mounted display device with computer generated hologram (CGH), a prototype system of head‐mounted holographic display is presented with multi‐depth and augmented reality (AR) technology. The system adopts modified Gerchberg‐Saxton algorithm (MGSA) to produce the computer generated pahse‐only function (CGPOF), then the information will be transform to image by LCoS. And the diffraction images are transferred through beam splitter to the retina. Furthermore, the proposed system could achieve multi‐depth by using human eyes focus and zoom mechanism. Finally, the quality of objective images in this study are also analyzed and evaluated.
