The defects that AOI detected and couldn't cause mal‐function to TFT‐LCD productions obviously undercut repair rate. In this paper, a new filter is used to enhance the repair rate and shorten the time spent in repair process. The repair rate is enhanced from 19.97% to 65.65% and about 42% time spent in repair process is saved.
