In this paper, the corner light leakage of a‐Si curved display caused by the curve of glass substrate was systematic explored and optical retardation phenomenon was discovered due to substrate bending. What's more, a series of solutions were confirmed to improve corner light leakage by stress release, reduction or transformation using a stress simulation system.
