This paper introduces a dual field of view display technique for automotive central information display. The new CID can display two separate images concurrently, which makes the driver see the navigation, and the copilot enjoy watching movies and other entertainment content in the car. We make the grating design based on the ordinary automotive LCD, generating 2 independent images, such as the odd columns pixels is an independent navigation video screen to the left, the even numbered columns of pixel is entertainment movie video screen to the right, so as to realize the vehicle display dual view display.
