A unique gate driver with novel 1‐to‐N architecture is proposed. It is achieved by sharing the inter‐stage transfer unit between adjacent N stages, resulting in the reduction of TFT number per stage to narrow the border. An embodiment is demonstrated within 5.5” FHD LCDs using ESL oxide TFT technology.
