We reported a wide viewing angle negative dispersion retarder film. We stacked the reactive mesogen (RM) and stretched polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). The retardation (Re) was Re(450 nm)/ Re(550 nm) = 0.818, Re(650 nm)/ Re (550 nm) = 1.110. The out‐of‐plane retardation (R th ) was 6 nm. This value is much smaller than a general retarder and exhibits wide viewing angle property.
