This paper studies the influence of the LED modulation frequency and eye saccade amplitude on the visibility of the phantom array effect. Results show that the phantom array effect becomes invisible at 3000 Hz. Besides, visibility thresholds at lower frequencies were not influenced by saccade amplitudes (20° and 40°).
