The paper presents systematic study on field of view (FOV) and color uniformity in a holographic waveguide display. It reveals the theoretical limits of FOV and corresponding color shifts. By adjusting both the slanted angle of gratings and incident angle of micro‐display, the wavelength shift reaches 21nm at a FOV of 16°.
