New designed lanthanide coordination polymers (CPs) were prepared with lanthanide ions (Ln=Eu3+, Tb3+) and specific organic ligands by conventional hydrothermal, which show sharp and strong photoluminescence and thermal stability. They are promising candidate materials for next generation LED based wide color gamut LCD.
