Novel glass light guide plate was developed by set total approach of improving both glass and peripheral technologies, and was mass‐produced by float process. Besides the excellent mechanical properties compared with PMMA, improved brightness and small chromaticity difference will provide new possibility, such as to realize the perfect “zero‐bezel”, one of the ultimate TV designed.
