This paper is a conceptual study of the multi‐depth head‐up display system using laser scanning PGU. First, aspheric mirror can make two‐depth virtual images, near and far, with different throw distance. Second, laser optic source have a focus free characteristic which can implement two images on the each screen with a single PGU. To resolve the loss of resolution and brightness difference from the two virtual images, we analyze optic parameters of PGU layout. We finally simulate the degree of matching virtual images with the road.
