We present organic thin film transistors with leakage currents below 10 −17 A/pm. We discuss how they can be exploited to fabricate (i) flexible reflective liquid crystal displays (RLCDs) with reduced power consumption for wearable applications and (ii) flexible active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) displays with high pixel density.
