In this paper, we introduce color washout‐free liquid crystal display (LCD) with thin layered color filter (CF) technique. The thickness of 1.5 µm thin layered CF was achieved by optimizing the performance of color resist. Thin layered CF can reduce color differences (Δu′v′) for RGB displays in oblique viewing angles, which means reduced color mixing.
