On‐chip LED packaging based on giant quantum dot (QD)‐silicone composites enable a high luminous efficacy (LE) and a small shift of emission colors. Compared to other strategies for backlights of high color gamut, QD packaging has high enough luminous efficacy over 100 1m/W with perfect colorimetric performance of over 100% NTSC.
