This paper proposes a method to predict color performance of active‐matrix liquid crystal displays driven by field sequential (FS) method. Using behavioral LC model, we could simulate LC's transmittance characteristics over time. By defining turn‐on timing of RGB‐LEDs in FS display, we could simulate the color performances of pixels depending on their locations across the panel.
