Optical properties of a transparent LCD display are measured using a multispectral Fourier optics viewing angle system. Full diffused transmittance and spectral BTDF for the white, black, red, green and blue states and for different incidence and azimuth angles are used to understand all the display imperfections. The reflective properties are also investigated.
