We propose a new method of calculating the multiple viewpoints for auto‐stereoscopic display based on Fourier slice theorem and boundary in‐painting. A set of virtual images are calculated from a 2‐D image and a depth mapping in the frequency domain. The proposed algorithm is faster and more accurate than conventional method.
