Displays for Watches and Wearables must fill most of the device front, which requires small IC and interconnect areas. This isn't usually possible with amorphous silicon TFTs, but we have applied new driving methods and processes to minimize edges and make flexible electrophoretic displays suitable for Watches, Wearables and Mobiles.
