In this article, we disclose a thin liquid crystal polymer (LCP) films with uniformly dispersed Quantum rods (QR) of higher Quantum yield. The photo alignment has been used to align the QR in the LCP thin film. The photo‐alignment in association with customized QR ensures the uniform dispersion and alignment of the QR on the large scale. The order parameter of 0.87 has been achieved. The QR films on illumination by the blue light emit the polarized light with the extinction ratio of 5:1. Thus the proposed QR dispersed LCP thin film can server as color enhancement and brightness enhancement film by improving the color gamut and polarization efficiency of the polarizers. Therefore, the prosed QREF LCP film is expected to increase the optical efficiency of the modern LCDs.
