By combining negative liquid crystal with a top‐gate field‐effect transistor using a c‐axis‐aligned crystalline oxide semiconductor, we fabricated a prototype of a fringe field switching liquid‐crystal display panel with a high effective transmittance and a resolution of over 1000 ppi.
