We report a two‐step nucleation and growth of CdTe quantum dots via magic‐sized cluster intermediates. In this low‐cost aqueous phase procedure (10 times lower than organic‐phase), the spectrally narrow emission (37 nm) with high quantum yield >50%) can be utilized for high definition and color gamut displays.
