Speckle reduction using multiple fiber pigtailed diode pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers with a narrow linewidth was studied experimentally. The relationship between speckle contrast ratio and number of lasers was investigated. An easy setup, low cost, small optical power penalty speckle reduction system with DPSS lasers is proposed.
