We fabricated prototypes of a 434‐ppi 5.9‐in reflective liquid crystal display for use as an e‐book reader. With high‐level optical characteristics with a reflectance of 25.1% and an NTSC ratio of 37%, we achieved eye‐friendly reflective LCD.
