First four primary‐color (RGBY) AMOLED display was demonstrated by a 4.65‐ panel with HD resolution (1280 x 720, 317 ppi). The RGBY display possessed superior NTSC ratio of 112% and low power consumption, which is 16% lower than conventional three color AMOLED panel under same panel size and pixel density. The introduction of yellow color significantly improved image quality and panel power consumption, and therefore made it a favorable display for mobile apparatus.
