Vcom Swing Technology is method for reducing the power consumption by lower operating voltage. We introduce a solution to reduce the light leakage in black pattern that occurs when operating the Vcom Swing technology. It can minimize the reduction in the aperture ratio through sequential driving and the new PXL structure. We fabricated 17inch qHD resolution panel in R&D line. Its contrast and transmittance was confirmed that the same performance from the 32inch HD production.
