In this work, an LCD mode with homogenous alignment and fringe‐field switching electrodes (FFS) is proposed to improve optical performance. Through the numerical analysis of its optical properties, we suggest that the positive FFS mode with various distances of the fringe‐plane switching electrodes could have low color washout and premium picture quality.
