This paper proposes a temperature‐dependent behavioral circuit model to predict optical characteristics of an active‐matrix liquid crystal display (AMLCD) with twisted‐nematic (TN) mode. By the simulation, we found that the movement of LCs has a linear relationship depending on the ambient temperature. The simulation results of the transient optical responses show excellent matches with the measurement ones regardless of ambient temperature.
