Based on previous studies on the viewing zone and design results of planar barrier‐type autostereoscopic displays, this study introduces a display curvature to rederive the designed eye position and viewing zone for flexible displays. To maintain the same viewing quality, we suggest to design Z DEP = 2L for maximized viewing zone, and R ≥ ⅔ Z DEP to avoid forward shifts of the designed eye position.
