Differentiation potentials of haploid epiblast stem cells (haEpiSCs) into neural lineages, as shown by the yielding neural progenitors (SOX1+, green) and neurons (TUJ1+, red) in vitro with a single genome nature. These unique homozygous pluripotent stem cells are promising in genetic screening of various biological processes, including reprogramming. See Gao et al. beginning on page 743 .
