For every 1,000 students on your campus this year, 75 women and 46 men will be involved in an emotionally abusive relationship, 12 women and seven men will be physically abused, and nine women and five men will be sexually abused, according to statistics from the American College Health Association. Understanding relationship violence on your campus is key to preventing it. Educating students about relationship violence will serve them both while enrolled at your institution as well as throughout their lives.
