In this paper we derive a six‐parameter Lorentz transformation which is suitable for investigating local problems in general relativity. These six parameters appear manifestly in the equations describing the transformation. In addition, the six parameters are related to the conventional parameters of the Lorentz transformation, namely, three components of the relative velocity between two observers, and three angles which describe a rotation of axes, and which we take to be Eulerian angles.
