A method suggested for computing iteration parameters for the boundary vorticity of slightly viscous fluids (Israeli 1970) is reconsidered. A more general model is constructed which is applicable to rotating and non‐rotating flows in several coordinate systems, and each coordinate can be independently stretched. The iteration parameters can be used with either the time centered implicit (Crank‐Nicholson) or with the alternating direction implicit (Peaceman‐Rachford) time differencing approximation.
