The peculiarities of the temperature‐programmed mass spectrometry (TPDMS) experimental technique are discussed with reference to studies of biologically active molecules absorbed on ultrafine oxide surfaces. Simple theoretical models are presented in order to allow an approximate analytical treatment of TPDMS data.
