A new strategy, based on sequential product‐ion spectra (MS 2 and MS 3 ) and reaction‐intermediate scanning (MS 3 ), provides a rapid and unambiguous sequence determination of E‐destruxin, a cyclodepsipeptidic toxin from Metarrhizium anisopliae fungus.
