Glycylglycine (glygly) and 40 related acetamide derivatives were synthesized and investigated by fast‐atom bombardment mass spectrometry. The protonated molecules were mass selected and their collision‐induced dissociations were analyzed by tandem mass spectrometry. The data obtained allow a fragmentation pattern to be established for these glygly analogues and permit detailed structural information on the main fragment ions to be ascertained.
