The female sex pheromone of the China corn borer, Ostrinia furnacalis (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae), was confirmed as Δ 12 ‐tetradecenyl acetate by a ‘fuzzy’ similarity analysis of gas chromatograph/mass Spectrometry data.
