The mass spectra resulting from election ionization and resonantly enhanced two‐ionization of amino acid trytophan molecules evaporated by the first harmonic frequency of a Nd‐YAG laser from an aqueous crygenic matrix were obtianed. The resonantly enhanced two‐photon spectra in the region of 0‐0 origin bands of tryptophan conformers was also measured.
