An ion chromatography/mass spectrometry system which makes use of a continuous‐flow fast‐atom bombardment probe, has been constructed and evaluated. Examples are given of applications to the analysis of inorganic anions (ion‐exchange chromatography), water soluble vitamins (ion‐pair chromatography) and glucose derivatives (ion‐excluson chromatography).
